The Airplane

This is the result of being left alone in my basement two nights in a row. I took about 200 pictures with my camera of a simple piece of paper, about 30 seconds footage, for your enjoyment. I probably spent at least 2 hours just taking pictures, and I spent a full hour editing, and now you can enjoy the fruits of my labors!

Getting better all the time. Stop-motion takes a lot of time/patience. I think the flying scenes could've used more frames to make it more fluid and not as jumpy. Also, I haven't heard a Reel Big Fish song forever.

Yes, stop-motion is very hard. I took about 200 pictures for the one movie, and I only got about 30 seconds of footage. It also takes a very clever mind, as there are certain limits to stop-motion (like making things levitate). I used tape a lot in the video to keep the airplane looking nice, and also for it to stand up while sliding (by the way, taping things to carpet isn't very easy).

In my next stop-motion, I plan on making it longer and know where I am going when I start. I'm probably going to use a different program, because Windows Movie Maker makes it slow and skips frames a lot (when you see freezing in the video, that's not my fault).
